Troll Fixes and Briggs

    I am absolutely certain I am not the only one with this in mind. We've all had at least one troll on our ship that we had to lock up in the brigg. And then what? He stays and receives any gold we receive. We the players, should have an extra vote to kick him off the ship. Either the fun way (walk the plank, get keelhauled,) or just kick him off the game. It's a loophole that too often, is exploited. It would be great to see Rare do something about this in a future update or a mini update.

    The next and last issue (which is more of a preference) is to remove the brigg on the sloop. There is absolutely no point in having a brigg on a 1 to 2 player ship. Maybe replace it with a bed or something else that doesn't give the sloop an unfair advantage over other ships.

    @supersnipper60 For example, if the brigg were replaced with more storage barrels or something similar, it could give a little advantage. What I am trying to say is, remove the brigg, but do not throw things off balance completely.

    @rummy-richard The brig is there for a reason. You can use it to hold an angle against other players. I don't think that adding storage barrels there would be any help, as each ship's barrel number is balanced.

    Honestly I can't really say if they should add in a vote to kick or not cause I've never touched open crew, however I feel like if they did add in a vote to kick feature having them walk the plank would definitely be a fun little way to deal with trolls and lighten the mood a bit.

    Maybe another way of dealing with trolls could be not getting loot/rep while you're in the brig? Might make the brig feel more of a punishment than it is.

    Now imagine you are joining an open crew, you play during 3 hours then at the moment of turning in loots, you got kicked because the others guys want a friend to join. (Or just for trolling)

    You can imagine the same scenario with no rep and gold gain while you are in the brig.

    No thanks.

    If a player gets to walk the plank because his two "teammates" want their friend in so he can cash in the loot instead, would it still be funny ?

    If you find a troll in your crew and it's early in the voyage, you're better off starting a new ship on a new server without him.

    Obviously any system that has players deciding to punish a teammate can be abused, my comment was only based on if they decided to add it in.

    Ofcourse it wouldn't be funny if the people doing it are being trolls, however I didn't actually consider two people sailing open crew and deciding to kick someone to invite their friend before handing in the loot. As I said, I don't sail open crew so I have no idea how bad some of the trolls can be.
