Alliance Chat System

    Can we get an in-game alliance chat system implemented?

    Currently in a three-ship alliance, working towards getting other crews to hand in my gifts, and can’t help but think about how convenient it would be to be able to send out a text message/notification to my allies...

    Thoughts?

    Just create an Xbox Live party and invite them. Easy! I do it all of the time.

    @galactic-geek Yeah I suppose that’s doable. You can still text chat in part, right?

    Still, I’d love for in-game text chat to be seen across the alliance, regardless as to how far apart you are on the map.

    Actually I'd like to see carrier pigeons or magical bottle messages be a thing, simple and immersive time-delayed messages that allow for basic communications.

    Seriously though, I’d take anything in-game. Just a simple system of any sort that allows me to message my alliance. It’d have made this gift giving rubbish a lot more doable, and maybe even enjoyable.

    I could attribute this sort of system to a lot of the game’s events, mind.
