@Nukdar @Troubled-Cells it is not only cosmetics that they have. They also have new things. Have you notice that there is a banjo on PL cave? And that we have an empty slot on our inventory? Idk what is Rare's point, but Im pretty sure they have plenty things that arent in the game. It seems that they only want to give us events and bug fixes (which are not entirely fixed). Rare! Do you like your game??

And Yes, they told they were looking to implement new musical instruments, but it was hard cuz they needed to create different tracks in order to syncronize everything (So YEAH, I noticed there was a banjo.).
But you can't deny the fact that THIS GAME WAS BUILD AROUND COSMETICS, there's nothing like "classes", Skills trees, levels, weapons with stats (Im not complaining about not being such this type of game) in Sea of thieves. IF they wanted to Create a game based in cosmetics you can build it, I DONT CARE, I enjoy the game!! But the problem is that THERE ARE NO COSMETICS in A GAME BASED ON BUYING COSMETICS!!! Who the **** is talking about the banjo here?!

Then if they have, why they are taking such a ******* amount of time to realse just NORMAL COSMETICS. Sorry if u are not happy with the way it is implemented, but you cant just insult them and tell them what to do. You know, the game is like this because of these type of people telling that "it is trash, you should make this way". So pls take it easy or you will just end up being punished. And you are wrong, the game wasnt based on cosmetics (at least not when it was not launched yet). Rare abandoned all their first plans and made the game on an other way. And no, it wouldnt make any difference to get cosmetics once per month or once per year. And depending on the cosmetic, it can even damage combat mechanics. If you dont believe me try to shoot anything with a parrot pistol, you will hit 10% of the time per shoot. So cosmetics are not a problem here. You just want them to be released more often and that is an irrelevant problem. It is only a problem to you and a few guys.

@blatantwalk4260 I agree that the game needs new stuffs other than cosmetics. But I dont see a problem of having streamers. Be a streamer is very hard and I think it is quite fair to give them some gratitude because they share your game. The problem is inside the game not outside, so anything outside is clearly irrelevant.

I want to say sorry, because I was at work and couldnt see the amount of things the new update brought! So, sorry for my words, I was very upset about the fact of cosmetics. And I can see I just throw everything at you. So, I want to say sorry for my modals on the last message!!
I never said this game is trash, cuz I enjoy it a lot!! And I didnt insulted Rare, neither said they havent been working hard. I Do say they really work HARD, but they seem to save everything for the future. My view about this game it remains the same, they wanted to create an horizontal line based on achieving tittles and cosmetics. But I can see they haven't filled the game with the things they said. Im giving them time to put a lot of bigger monsters, map expansions, new mechanichs and lot of fun stuff. But let's be frank they take toooo much time to realise the simply things as cosmetics could be.
BTW this update brought a lot of stuff and looks really fun!! Eventhough that it could have been cool to have some other spooky make ups to choose, and also the prices of the black market which are getting expensive!! BUT By the way im happy with the whole addition they made with this update!!

The good
Streaming is a good thing. I remember being a kid and watching my older brothers play video games when I wasn't playing them myself. My brother streams from time to time, and well I'm and adult and have moved away from home. Getting on and watching his stream reminds me of those times from when I was a kid watching him play video games.
There are some streamers that certainly represent the good of the Sea of Thieves community and that really contribute a lot of positivity to the player base. I really do enjoy some streamers, and I can definitely appreciate the good they do for the game.
Then there is the bad...
And the bad is mostly coming from the way Rare are conducting themselves over this whole streamer thing. I feel that people are wrongly directing their frustrations toward streamers, when they should be frustrated with Rare for not knowing when to draw a line.
In the most recent dev updates, Joe constantly talks of streamer-this and streamer-that, and he hardly ever speaks on top feedback points from the community like they used to do. It's been a lot of streamer appreciation in those dev updates. Then there was the Twitch-con panel, wherein they discussed their future plans... and again, whenever Joe talked about future content, he was always super heavy on the point of "...making this new feature fun to watch..."
This leads me to believe that their meetings or creative sessions where they discuss new content internally sound more like "what's the best way to make this content look good on mixer or Twitch" rather than "How can we make this a memorable and meaningful experience for all of our players?" - which saddens me...
As much as I love Rare and appreciate their hard work - this streamer and playerbase tension is completely is on Rare for cozying up to streamers way too much, and seemingly catering their development and even their customer support in favor of streamers. They need to get a grip on this.

There a difference between creator program and be SOT Partner. Everyone can be part of the creator program, get the sail after streaming 5 min, and get title (not other cosmetic, or cash) for streaming time and number of viewer.
Partner need to respect some statistics to be partner, and Rare staff make a selection. It is not a very open program. It something put in place to congratulate content creater who help Sea Of Thieves getting more visibility.
I see no injustice here. The only locked cosmetic are easy to get. For the rest, you have to be a content creator because you like creating content, not just to unlock some titles.
