As a simple solo playing fisherman, the lightning strike increase for the Fort of the Dammed has made it nearly impossible to catch stormfish. I wasted 27 leaches without catching a single thing... 27 lightning strikes and 27 chances at a shadow stormfish lost. There could be a reduced lightning strike chance whilst holding a fishing pole or something.

I would like to see it lowered as well, though not entirely removed. Losing a stormfish to a lightning strike should still be a possibility, since it's always been a part of the game before. I feel like the lightning should do a lot more damage per strike, but not strike as much, but that's just me.
I haven't tried fishing in a storm for Stormfish since the lightning strike chances seem to have been increased, but if it's this bad, then yes I think the chances of being struck while fishing should be returned back to how they were before the FoTD. I can see chances increased if you're holding your sword out, or trying to raise or lower the anchor in the middle of a storm, or standing in the crow's nest, but not for the fishing pole since it's so hard to catch Shadow Stormfish as it is. 😬😅👍⛈🎣
@ultmateragnarok Right. I've lost some fish to lightning strikes in the past and that was fine, but so many in a row is very disheartening.
