Official Sea of Thieves Developer Update: September 25th 2019

    Ahoy maties!

    It's your friendly neighbourhood pirate here again (yes, I know, again!) with another short but to the point weekly dev update straight from YouTube!

    Talking points include;

    • The next update Fort of the Damned has been pushed back a further week due to Insider testing. The update will now be released on October 16th.
    • Lots of cool stuff coming in this update ;D More revealed soon!
    • Twitchcon - Joe and Jon will be at Twitchcon but several streamers will be hosting Sea of Thieves meet and greets and a chance to grab a Midnight Blunderbuss! Keep an eye out on social media for more info.
    • New York ComicCon - The team will be there doing a panel digging deep into Tall Tales - and possible hints and teases of future ones!
    • EGX In October - There will be a panel hosted by Robin Beanland. And maybe another similar to last years panel! (Come and say hi as me and many other pirates from these waters will be there!)

    • New York ComicCon Team will be there doing a panel digging deep into Tall Tales.

    Might want to note possible new tale teases as mentioned in the dev update.

    edit: of note it may be delayed to the 16th but the update is still earlier than last years which was Oct 30th - Nov 27th, 2018.

    Sad the new update is pushed back... Smugglers voyage update was pretty boring and I was expecting to play the new one soon (More hyped if ITS THE HALLOWEEN EVENT one!!) Hope 16th of October comes SOOON!!!

    @klutchxking518 unless your couch is situated in the middle of TwitchCon, then, unfortunately, yes.

    Though if it is being given away at events, chances are it'll be available elsewhere (other than eBay for $450... 🙄) Soon™... hopefully anyway.
