By purchasing this month’s GOSH premium cosmetic, the Sails of Hope charity item, through the Pirate Emporium, you and Sea of Thieves are helping support this month’s featured Charity. Here’s how:
When you purchase the Sails of Hope charity item between 18th February 2021 and 18th March 2021, Microsoft will donate 80% of the proceeds from each sale made via the Steam version of the game, and 100% of the proceeds of each sale made via non-Steam versions of the game, to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (www.gosh.org).
Who are this month's featured charities?
This month's featured charity is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH), based in the UK. For more information about GOSH, visit www.gosh.org.
GOSH is a charity registered in the UK, with charity numbers 1160024 and company number 09338724.
When will the results be published?
Rare will publish, on www.seaofthieves.com and other Microsoft social media channels, the total amount to be donated to each Charity, within 21 days of the final available date of the Charity item (campaign end date). Charity items are only available for a limited time, normally one month.
When will the donation be made?
A single donation, totalling the amount published, will be made to the Charity within 28 days of the campaign end date.
Any queries about the donations must be made before 18th June 2021 at Sea of Thieves customer support: support.seaofthieves.com. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions. If there is a dispute regarding donations, Microsoft’s decision will be final in all respects on all purchasers.
Microsoft may stop sales of a Charity item, the Campaign and/or donations to a Charity at any time.
