    It is more than likely just be a bit delayed... It might be worth starting a new game session and seeing if that helps it pop in too.

    Confirmed from three sources you have to hop on, receive the emote, hop off and start a new game session for the emote to appear!

    I don't have it. Restarted multiple times. I never saw a pop-up saying I have it, though I am Pirate Legend.

    Side Note:
    You will be shot at, killed, ignored by many pirates who have no clue what your talking about when offering them the Gift.

    @alcatraz6 I don't think it appears immediately. I didn't get it immediately either, but it appeared in my vanity chest on the next session (which was the next day, so not sure on the actual delay).

    You might need to leave the game and start a new session for it to appear, or wait up to 72 hours which is the time it can take for ledgers and other rewards to be distributed.

    I find when there's issues with receiving an item (such as tall tale rewards or event rewards such as this one) I usually purchase something cheap from the outpost stores and that fixes it for me.

    I had to sail into a different area and then it was finally added to my inventory. I left The Wilds and entered the Devil’s Roar and it finally worked.
