I could not find a suitable place for this post, so if its at the wrong place i'm sorry.
I bought the game on PC digital at launch, and i've been playing with my son a bit through account sharing on Xbox (I play on PC).
Now we only get the Avocadobeard (Requires Xbox Live) error even if we log in with my account or his account. I thought this was gonna be possible, did something change there?
If not, please point me in the right direction so i can go sailing with him again :)
@geirissimo Are you logging into both accounts separately on two different devices? Both my son and I play as well, me on my desktop, and him on my laptop. But we both use individual Xbox IDs to do so. Works great!
I'd imagine you should be able to do a single game on two separate devices provided the accounts active at the time are different.
i'm logging in with my account on PC, and him on his on Xbox.
We've been doing it for a good 6 months i guess, but now it suddenly doesnt work.
I don't have xbox live gold, nor did i have that before either unless it came with the digital pc purchase? I'm clueless really.
If the fix is to buy xbox live i guess i'll do that, but if so something has changed somewhere down the road with 2 months back
