I Built a Floating Wall Display For My Collection!

    I hope this is appropriate for this section of the forums.

    Anyway!

    Here's a project I finished buildng last night. It is a display for (part of) my Sea of Thieves collection! Not pictured are the Art Book, Tales book, and Athena's Fortune novel.

    I'm a musician at heart and a gamer by hobby, so I'm no craftsman. But I felt creative and wanted a proper display for my collection, so I gave it a try!

    I managed to find a ship's wheel and some of the glass fishing buoys that you see in the game. From there I got the shelf, added some slats all across to give it a wooden boards look, stained the wood to work better with the wheel. I added some fishing net draped across for more aesthetic enhancement.

    I put it all together, gave it the ability to hang on the wall and boom! Here we are!

    maybe tonight after i finally spend the time to get the gold curse done we can try and set it up, but i couldnt take your stand regardless lol. We can for fun though! Always down for a duel haha .

    @chronodusk seeing those other screw-sized holes has me feel uneasy about it. I'd hate to see it fall off the wall during the night.

    That is simply the remains of another shelf that was there and I took down. I haven't had issues with screws on that wall, but I'll double check to make sure it is secure!

    @chronodusk Dude that is awesome!
    Great work I have that passion to cosplay, i made a real size Big Daddy costume with a moving giant drill and green lights coming from inside.
    Moss and coral are on the metal and i made it look a little bit rusty, but i can wear it for like half an hour 40 minutes.

    That's an impressive show piece @chronodusk - makes me miss my Sea of Thieves display back in Australia!

    But as mentioned above... needs more Splashtail.

    Will be sure to include more Splashtail by whatever means necessary. After all, Sea of Thieves is naught but a platform for Splashtail appreciation.

    I also had a mantle with a Helm hung above it, some lanterns, coins and keys strewn all over it. But I can't find a decent picture of it... so you will have to take my word for it being cool.

    He has actually, I made that picture way back when the Sea of Thieves Podcasts were still on-going. Joe asked for Mike Chapman fan art so I did what was asked of me.

    I recently reminded him that this photo exists haha

    Love it! And I love the Amiibos underneath! If I'm correct that display case is from Ikea? I thought about getting one of those for my amiibo collection.

    Spot-on mate, it's an awesome cabinet to house my shame that is ALL the amiibo.
    My Sea of Thieves collection has grown a lot since these images were taken but I don't have any proof of that. You'll have to take a Pirates word for it.

    I trust that it is haha, anyone who's filled out the entire Amiibo collection, even just the Smash Bros series is deemed a man/woman of culture in my book. I'm still missing a few from the Smash Bros series myself but only a few!
