Tall Tales

    So I have been a little apprehensive about beginning my Tall Tale voyage with my friends.

    I am seriously excited, but I am wondering if when you get the voyage, it's a one-time voyage just like all the others, or if it is a multi-session personal pirate story that you uncover as you go.

    The latter example would be more like the story unfolds for you relative to how far your pirate gets.

    I was wondering this because the trailer made it seem like such a big adventure with so many different aspects, and I also didn't wait 13 months for another hour-long haul.

    So if you know how the Tall Tale works (please no spoilers of the story), let me know.

    You can start a tall tale every session; there are several and together they are one story AFAIK (only completed the first one).
    You can do them multiple times as well, they have some variation I've heard.

    I've already seen the video. I kind of understand, now.

    So there are multiple different "sub"-voyages of the bigger story, and I can complete each one as if they were a regular gold-hoarder voyage?

    Also, just a thought: I hope that they add more tall tales like this, obviously with their own stories and characters and stuff. Because this one I'm assuming will be really fun, but I seriously don't want to have the same story to re-run 100 times. Even if "the treasure isn't on the same island every time," I need new stories to keep me interested, and I would love to see big Tall Tales being added to the game monthly or so.

    Correct. Although the Tall Tale are separate from the Gold Hoarders, you will receive gold on completion but not reputation.

    Also, just a thought: I hope that they add more tall tales like this, obviously with their own stories and characters and stuff.
