Having tornados in the heart of storms and sirens that put people in to some kind of trance when they get to close would be really cool.

Hmmm, maybe? But I don't see how, these are mythical women who sing so beautifully that I'm sure they can overpower a measly shanty.
I'll look into sirens more and see how movies, shows, books, and of course The Odyssey, naturally. And I'll see a way where it is similar and can be implemented within the game@r3d50v13t ya thats true and the other thing about playing shanties to counter siren's hold on crewmates is solo play, there be no crewmate to save ye!
I actually did a post about adding in Waterspouts into the game, that will spawn at random occasions around the thunderstorm in the game, and with the connection to your post, waterspouts turn into tornadoes when on land.
Now with sirens, I think we can substitute that with the sounds from the intense wind or from your crew-mates if you have them along with you.
This would be a good feature to add into the game. I will actually tag you in the post and see what you think about it.
@r3d50v13t You should check out my post about adding waterspouts into the game from a few days ago. It ties in to what she is also suggesting with adding into the game. I would be nice to add in a waterspout into the game.
