Just wondering - I wanted to do the battle for the Ancient Isles together with a friend of mine today, which are active from the 11th to the 20th (ingame time). We sailed into the area of the battle on the 13th, but could not make the skeleton ships appear. This lead us to the question in the title. Is it possible to trigger a battle more than once during one event time window? Could it be that the battle was already won before we got there? This would be very disappointing, because it's not easy for me to be online at a very specific time (i.e. when the time windows for the battles have just opened).
How often can Cursed Sails battles be triggered in the 4h time window?
@greenwarfare423 you can definitely spawn the ships multiple time in the time window. If they didn’t spawn you either were in the wrong area or didn’t go far enough. I would say it only take about 5 minuets for them to respawn after you beat the captain.
@greenwarfare423 They should have spawned regardless of how often they have been fought.
I don't know what to tell you except leave the area for a minute or two and return to see if that triggers them.
This often happens to allegedly active forts so why should skelly fleets be any different, right? lolThanks for the answers, guys!
@surveyorpete I'll check that out again. Indeed, we`ve probably been max 2 or 3 tiles away from the island, as I had in mind fighting there a battle before, which was triggered by other player ships.
