I dont know with the rest of you. But I'm experiencing not seeing or finding other ships more and more often. I can play for hours and not see a ship.
I know the game is designed so that players get merged into servers with others. And sure. Some times I can get lucky and be on a server/get merged with allot of players. It's great fun then. Especially now that joining an alliance to take down the skeleton ships is something one should be at least two ships to take down.
That takes me to the next issue. People dont want to do the same thing. You can gather resources and try to find players for hours. Yes hours! And when you finally find someone they dont want to do the same as you.....
We need some sort of matchmaking service. Options to join on a server with friends on more ships etc. Because how it's now is not remotely good enough. So much waste of time when everyone should be having fun instead. It's frustrating and something most people wont tolerate for long.
We see images and stories about HUGE crowds of ships doing awesome things together. It's almost false advertising as the chance of that happening for most are slim to none.
Take grips Rare so that those epic moments will be something more can experience. Because as of now it's really not a great experience sailing around alone trying to find players.
