  • @katttruewalker LOL The sneaky little sod. :o)

I want to avoid it for as long as possible whilst still enjoying the game.
When the inevitable happens I want to keep that a secret. ;o)

Edit: Although I'd like for those who saw most of my journey to be present on the day.

Hahahaa! Having sailed with a very young pirate last night, i can really empathise with the bit which says
'He peppered me with questions. What’s the name of the smaller ship? How does someone serve as look out? What’s a fort? How do you complete a fort? How often are there weekly events? What are the rewards? Can he get the old cosmetic rewards? Why is turning the sails important?'

    • 'I just wanted to sail and get gold. '
  • @katttruewalker That's nothing compared to...
"Look at my watch", "Look at my shovel", etc. like it's something I haven't already seen before. lol

The young ones also want to fight against other ships and take down a fort. Most have no idea how to adjust sails or gather supplies but are ready to take on the world.... in their minds.

  • @katttruewalker Thanks for sharing this great story! It has a great lesson for all those experienced players to remember :)

  • @katttruewalker Sounds like a fun thing to do.
I'm far away from being a Pirate Legend, but thinking about it, i would have to change back every cosmetical item to look like a new player, even buy another trumpet and drum for cover.
That's quite a bit of work and awareness to keep this illusion alive.

  • That's some top tier bamboozle-ment and gave me a good ol' laugh.
    Thanks for sharing it haha

Well played, Pirate Legend, well played.

As the doorway opened, the crew be like...

  • @katttruewalker I saw this on Twitter from a Three Sheets ReTweet...Gave me goose bumps. LOL

I wonder what the "rag wearing" Pirate would've done had everyone not proven of good character?

  • @katttruewalker That was a fun read, thanks :) Might have to give it a try myself some time.

  • @katttruewalker In another thread you had asked what we think a Pirate Legend should be like, I think this story fits very well.

  • @katttruewalker L**O!

    as the song played

This is amazing! What a good way to Legend it up kudos to all of them for being good people the seas need more of that!

  • This is the story I was hoping for in my Pirate Legend encounter thread!

I want to do stuff like this after I hit legend. 10 more levels...

    Thanks for sharing!

  • @katttruewalker
    What a great story!!
I was laughing so hard with the mental picture of your facial reactions to all his questions. The eye rolls, the heavy breaths, the grinding of the teeth while explaining what the boats are. Haha
Your a good person and player. Hope to meet you on the sea sometime.

  • Great story, patience makes a wealthy and virtuous pirate!

  • @KattTruewalker - Great story.

I love going incognito to see how other players react. Recently had a crew fooled for over an hour till their friend joined who recognised my GT.

I know a few Pirate Legends who also like to keep there identity a secret and have had loads of fun doing so. One revealed himself when the crew had run out of voyages & all he had was an Athena's. He dropped it on the table and after a bit of confusion revealed himself.
