Fought a Fort and all for Naught

  • Yaaar, a tale to tell, ending not so sweet, so gather me hearties whilst I warms me feet.

A treacherous voyage be had 2 nights past, a Skull in the clouds ahead of our mast. A full crew we had, very good mates @RDizz kept me comp’ny, which was anything but bad.

We be stockin’ up supplies, ready to make Skellys taste steel, down went the sails with Dizz at the wheel. With joy in our hearts we arrived at the fort, not a soul be left except for a sloop rider caught. He flashed lantern brightly to signal parley, so with no further wait we got on our way.

Wave after wave be fallin’ to our blades, cannonballs helping to remove any delays. But alas, Dizz’s wife, with eagle eyes caught, a galleon behind us, not looking for port. We handle the scurvy dogs, sending them off to the ferry, but along pops a sloop, with a crew not so merry.

Be working together these two ships it seem, so we keep battling on, but our ship bursts a seam…

Away to the ferry, but when back on dry land, the fort is not far, it is still close at hand! Yahaaaar be the cry, as we put the wind to our sail, the fort be ours by right, we will not now fail.

But 6 against 4 is a tough enough battle, without me be running around like headless cattle. So we gave up the chase, a two hour fight, with nought in our hold, that feeling ain’t right. A happy crew we started, dejected we parted.

A sad tale ye’ see, but fear not for me. The Sea of Theives be calling, right after me tea!

    Was still fun tho.

    Confirmed.

(For the record we really won as we did sink them 3 times. Wasn't until we lost our 4th deckhand that things started to fall apart)
