Hello there fellow Pirates!
I'm looking for an Island i happend to stumble upon while sailing a few days back , sadly i don't remember if it was a named one, or an uncharted Island. All I remember that on one side it was all rocky and it had an entrance to a Cave, were i discovered a lot of Gold-Skeletons and Captains (5-6 of them + Skeletons). Does anyone happend to stumble upon that Island as well? If so, mind telling me where it was? :P
Hmm. If you ran into captains on the island, that means it was probably part of a bounty quest, so it was definitely a named island. I can't tell you exactly which one though, there are lots of rocky islands with caves.
I can tell you it's probably not on the top left section of the map, since those islands have very few caves. Most likely it's on the top right section. Do you remember any other defining features? A wrecked ship, a camp, a painting?
Can't be part of a bounty Quest, because i had none, so seems like this is a place where they appeared "naturally" (Or maybe it was a bug lol) All I remember is that it was a rather small one (Helped out another Player fighting a very annoying other Pirate xD) sailing around it in circles, the water was all nice and calm and "Caribbean" so it can't be in the North/ North-East part of the Map.
It really bothers me i could not remember where it was xD... because if the Captains hang out there by default...well....gold... .
The Cave had it's entrance directly into the Water, no beach in front of it. One side was all rocks - with the Cave, the other side had a beach.
@lyk2 There are no parts on the map where captains spawn automatically. You may not have had a bounty quest, but if any other player on the server had a bounty quest on that island and passed through the block, it would spawn them in.
Could be as well, but it must have been from someone else then who was no longer there, because neither me, nor the other Two had one by the looks of it.
Still....would like to know where it was xD
However i think naturally spawning Captains, and such would benefit the Game (Also Ghost Ships (come on Rare!))
@lyk2 It could be a cool addition! Do you remember anything else about the island? Landmarks, cliffs, mountains? Was it round, long, or spotted with smaller islands? Was it tall, or short enough to see across?
"round-ish" and Short enough to see the Sail of a Sloop still.
There is sadly not much more, it's like the needle in a haystack.
Barnacle Cay, Lookout Point, maybe Scurvy Isle or Plunderer's Plight. Here's an out of game map that might help you find it, if you happen to remember any more details.

Just wanted to let know I found the Island, it was Lone Cove. And yes sadly no skeletons :P (Would have been nice because a lot of Gold Skulls)
@lyk2 Nice! That would have been nice for sure, but yeah, it was probably just a bounty quest. I've seen it before, too, and it's always nice when it happens!
