STRONGHOLD KEY KRAKEN EAT IT DOOR OPEN

    So me and a pal battled a Galleon at a Stronghold as the Raid Skull disappeared, we killed the crew on land after sinking their ship and sailed away the boat as they hid the key, we returned when they came back but they ran as soon as they reached the island but I was watching the door, so they had the KEY we gave chase but after leaving the island but after giving chase they got KRAKEN attacked, needless to say we backed squidzilla then launched me in after it sank as we find loot disappears if kraken despawn and it sent in the sharks and did just that.
    We went back to pick up some explosive barrels from the stronghold deflated as a conseltion, GUESS WHAT?

    DOOR OPEN LOOT WAITING ALL UNTOUCHED!!!

    The Kraked despawning the key in the water and the door opening is no coincidense, in short the key being put into a door as code is essentially a carried object delete, the kraken water the same so same result. May be a glitch or intended who knows?

    This most definately isn't a glitch... It is an intended mechanic to to try to persuade players to return to outpost after conquering a Skullfort to sale their loot.

    My crew and I had collected 23 skulls from 4 rank 30 Order of Souls voyages along with 2 Seafarers chests, 2 Castaways chests, 2 Crates of Rare Teas, a Marauders chest, & Captains chest before risking everything and heading straight for the Skullfort.

    We defeated the captain of the Skullfort got our loot loaded onto our ship and set off to finish our voyage. When all of a sudden Kraken attacks us not even 100 meters (in game) away from the previously conquered Skullfort.

    Needless to say we had a couple "unprepared souls" aboard and we sank due to no one cutting the tentacles wrapped around our boat.

    When we returned to the scene of the crime the Kraken despawned and with it about 45K worth of treasure.

    We searched a couple islands nearby expecting the loot to be washed up on shore as it usually does after a ship sinks and no one claims the loot from said sunken ship.

    Not a single chest, crate, or skull was recovered. So in short if you have loot aboard when the Kraken comes for your crew be prepared to kill the kraken and reclaim your loot or sink and lose it forever.

    The Kraken WILL eat all your treasure...
