I hope you guys will fix this kind of situation

    ok first this game is awsome, i really love it!
    it's the second beta i do. yesterday we got an issue that never happened before.
    we were 3 players and we had 3 chests and someone joined our team then he drop all our chests in the sea and shot our gun powder barrel and that destroyed our boat and after that he left the game...

    i didnt had enough time to react and see the name of the player who did that...
    no option to report or at least be able to have the name of the player who did that..
    so i hope we gonna have some kind of log to dissuade this kind of player to do this and i would like to know if the full release will have an option set our team private to block players that we dont know to join our team and do something like this.

    @highborncomet84 did you have a chance to lock him in the brig? I have to imagine that the moment it was discovered he had dropped a chest off the boat the team should have been able to do that.

    I know that the Devs had said it will be at lunch, but to be fair three person crews are not an option in our current Beta.

    @wearelegion They are :) Select the galleon and then you can choose a smaller crew from there.

    I see. The option is in the options screen, same place you adjust settings I believe. Sorry I don’t have a more specific path.

    @wearelegion when you are setting up the game, after you choose a galleon you are given a choice between a full (4-person) or small (3-person) crew.

    Actually, the more people who know this the better. My very first play yesterday involved me joining a three person friend a team who locked me in the brig right off.

    None of them were on mic, so I believe they were using another form of communication. I was cool since I just quit and then made a two-person crew with my friend, but I can see how this will turn off a lot of people.

    I hate it happened and it does, but why the brig is there I did suggest once maybe a icon like when you brig someone to pop up when a new person joins because you can't tell if they dont talk and you have to check in menus so,you could be off on a island Or doing whatever when this happens. But why you gotta be on your toes if you know you have a slot unfilled its best to periodically check for a newcomer every so often.

    Had a guy lastnight we were docked at crooked masts and teammatws jumped off except me and the random. Noticed he was lowering back sail and raising anchor so I stayed behind said no biggy keep a eye could be new or not and trying to move the ship closer he even invited me to a party but we left our party to be in game chat to talk we even verbally said if he tries to,take off brig yet he decided to go against our wishes when I realized he was headed straight for a gally immediate brig . I don't mid newcomers to learn but you dont steal your crews ship for selfish reasons its pirate code he was furious but lesson learned and he still didnt come off mute to explain himself.

    Things happen but with this game stay on your toes

    @devilstassia Similar circumstance last nite. Was playing with my kids and the neighbors kid. The neighbor's kid had to log out, so we picked up a random. He wouldn't talk, but did occasionally use the emote wheel. I stayed on ship while my girls dug treasure. The random stayed too. So, on the way to an outpost we picked up a tail, another fully crewed Galleon. We opted to haul a** to the oupost and turn in, as opposed to fight. Well...our "guest" had other ideas. He dropped anchor on us, forced the fight, which we lost. As well as all of our loot. If anything, stuff like this is making people more unlikely to welcome randoms. Also makes it more unlikely I will ever do anything but solo when no one else I know is online. Sucks!

    @highborncomet84 You should be able to go to your friend's list after something like that happens and see the players you've recently encountered and then you can block him or report him or both. Just be aware, there's usually a delay between when you actually play with someone and when they show up on the recent list.
