Hello everyone,
i just want to share my experiences and thoughts about this awesome game at its current state.
Ive really enjoyed playing this game, soloing for almost the entire time, but some things have made it quite hard to enjoy fights on my own.
I tried to avoid larger ships, since defeating those would have low chances of success, but defeating other players can be literaly impossible, since they can just respawn endlessly next to their sunken ship.
You sink their ship, you kill them once or twice, but while you prefent your ship from sinking, repositioning it or picking up their treasures, they just respawn and try to kill you or crash your ship .
Good luck trying to pick up their treasures in the time they need to respawn again.
Its hard enought to sink bigger crews ships solo, but fighting for hours after you finally took down their ship, is just frustrating and makes it seem pointless to even bother trying. I ended up loosing my own ship a couple of times, just because they kept respawning more frequently then i could kill them and pick up their chests.
A solution for this would be a maximum of one respawn next to sunken ships or way higher death times.
The combats are still fun and im pretty exited to see what features will be added on release.
I kinda hope there will be some kind of save areas around Outposts or a ship upgrade or sth. that prevents or slows enemy players from entering or accessing your ship while anchored.
The game itself is running mostly suprisingly smooth for its early stage and looks pretty amazing, Especially the water.
I didnt experience other bugs then pretty randomly and quite frequently apearing screen freezes, resulting in the game shutting down or manually forced to shut down the game entirely which ends your current voyage, loosing all chests and supplies as a solo player.
Since theres any information, reports or error message displayed about the cause and my system is up to date i just hope this issue is known and has already been worked on for the full release.
The world itself could need some added liveforms like small fishes, mabye even whales and some sort of smaller animals or even dangerous ones on the islands.
I had a greate time playing the beta and cant wait to see the content to come.
