Chest of the dead: spawns skeletons on the ship.
Chest of hundred legs: runs around the ship, may randomly jump off the ship
Chest of storms: can spawn a storm near you
Invisible chest: better remember where you stored it.
Heavy chest: requires two people to lift it (shouldn't be able to find one of those when you are solo)
Chest of the lost: messes with all the compasses on ship
Overheating chest: you have to pour water on it every ~5 minutes if you don't want it to explode
Chest of all curses: has all the curses with just one being active @ given moment

I’m not sure about the explosive one since it will be hard to get water from a moving ship.
- Sargasso chest: No more wind for you!
- Cursed light chest: Can’t turn off the light of your ship and light can be seen farther away.
- Would like to see a chest where every compass are pointing to your ship.
- A chest that make everyone on your ship mid-life (until you sell it or throw it in the sea). Also affecting enemies coming on the ship.
@dimitarkaludov how about The Chest of Bad Luck - when you have it on an island skeletons will spawn constantly, when in the water sharks will, and when on a ship lightning will hit you ever so often and holes will appear in your ship
The Chest of Misdirection - Changes the angle of your sail, and fights your steering wheel like a storm
I vaguely remember a thread like this before. It had loads of ideas on there including a catagory value based on it's severity.
My suggestions were
lost souls: hides your ship in a shroud of thick fog but haunted screams gives away your location within it.
Merfolk's wrath : summons storm like waters causing occasional ship damage and making it difficult to stear.
The mad : causes you to see things that aren't there. From rocks jutting out of the water to storms or even ships. No two players would see the same thing as each is randomly generated to player based on proximity to the item (chest / skull)

the blowing chest : this is more a good chest he blow every thing in front of him so the sails for example... but if u are in front you you are blow away!!!

These suggestions have been hilarious and some really good ones. I will suggest a few more.
Chest of Plague - Causes the then entire crew of the ship it is placed on to constantly vomit until it is removed from their ship.
Chest of Revenge - Once a crew mate first digs it up and starts to carry it, the chest is bound to that crew until it is sold. If any other crew tries to steal it, the entire crew who is trying to steal it dies instantly. This gives any crew that is being attacked a few minutes to potentially get revenge!The Chest of Slumber:
Deliver it during the day or hide it somewhere where it can't be heard because at night this chest will make sure you go to sleep at your bedtime. A few minutes after the sky turns dark the chest begins to play a lullaby that gives you 5 seconds to get out of range. If you can't however, your pirate immediately falls activates the sleep gesture on the gesture wheel and you are unable to wake up unless the chest is moved or it turns to day. This chest may sound ridiculously unfair because it can render a whole crew useless. However, it is possible to completely avoid the effects of the chest with things like clever hiding (The Crows Nest, or a deck that is filled with water?). Furthermore, you aren't doomed, if you're lucky you're ship might not even hit anything by the time it turns to day or maybe you'll even wake up just in time to patch up the holes that might have occurred during your sleep. I also had a similar idea with the dancing gesture. I think it'd be great if they utilized all the gestures in this way.The Troll's Chest:
This accurately named Chest has no direct physical affects, but it will try its best to troll the f**k out of you. This chest has a mouth and it loves attention, if you aren't giving it the attention it wants though, it will start to speak. There will be a huge amount of random diaglouge that it can spout out things as small as annoying quips and condescending insults, to more harmful audio like the sound of cannons and guns in the distance to confuse the crew. One of the worst parts about it is it's always super condescending and pertentious, Rare would get to have fun trying to design the most annoying lines of dialogue possible.
