[BUG] chest stuck inside hull

I was playing some sea of thieves and picked up a weeping chest, we set sail and whenever it started crying I would go over the edge until it stopped, pressing the f key every time. Unfortunately at some point I pressed x while holding the chest right next to the ladder on the side of the boat and it dropped down. I thought it was gone into the sea however it wasn't, I heard crying and water started coming into the boat as expected, water was gushing out of the wall on the bottom level of the ship, not from any holes but from the weeping chest. Me and my crew then tended to it for the next 4 hours every 5 minutes or so as we could not sell it or get rid of it, because it was glitched in the ship.
