Recently i encounter 2 sloops teaming up no problems till 1 sloop had sus actions such as at full health i die in one shot so we sank due to this sus action so we decided one more try with a failed attempt, i said nice cheats with the one shot kills and went to leave and hop to a new server so not too long I'm receiving a message about the hackusation though i did not mention hacks just said cheating, so i was like no way i got a message with streamer mode actively on, then next they are in my stream chat. can anyone explain, is there a hack or a ddos way to get to by past streamer mode? as i dont know how they got past and maybe someone needs to look into to see if there is a bug? thank you!
how is someone able to find me with streamer mode active
so streamer mode is basically useless as still anyone can still find and stream snipe
Depends what you are talking about here.
It does the following:
- Hides your Gamertag & other players you may meet on your screen. So viewers can't locate them as well.
- Hides Ship Names (same as above)
- And disable copywright music (if any)
That is about it. It's a viewer block only; a smart player who actually encounters you ingame can still see your real name online by Recent Players. (When it works)
So in a way, yes, it prevents stream sniping. BUT...you are on a game where certain locations/markers will give you away. World Events, Storm location, Island location. So if you server hop enough, you just might find someone in the large pool of servers :p
Word of the Wise: You are publically streaming your gameplay. Opening yourself up to these things, and it's going to happen. No game is really safe from players who know the loops to find players.
