DLC expansion?

    How would everyone feel if Rare made a paid DLC expansion for Sea Of Thieves?

    Maybe with Tall Tales, new cosmetics and maybe even access to new areas? all part of a major DLC expansion but for a price?

    I have no idea how that could work or if it could work at all from a game dev perspective but if it was technically possible to do, would / could that be a way forward?

    Hard no.

    Paid expansions are on the decline in modern gaming and SoT is definitely not the type of game to try this comeback experiment in its struggling state right now.

    Also pretty sure it's not Rare's philosophy for the game at release, now, or ever.

    This would be a huge L for rare

    At first everything that be counted as DLC is free because game was bare naked anyways. After time, 8 years it be silly to charge for future stuff now.
