No progression on reputation quest for golden guild if not captain of the ship

There are some issues with some commendations. My experience has been it happens if the crew is split up. Like everyone needs to be on the same island (or at least on the ship) so for example if you were splitting up to try and complete things faster or have someone off doing other things like sneaks/steals on other crews or just chilling somewhere fishing. Also a lot of the guild commendations require you to be wearing specific clothing. Really bad design since they STILL haven't added the ability to set favorites. Probably never will at this point. Also not that I think it needs clarification but your crew mates I imagine must be part of that guild to get credit as well?

Honestly I found it best to just solo sloop them. For example the complete voyages, just dive voyages to complete it. Knowing how rarely they actually nerf things (or update anything for that matter) "Completed Athena's Fortune Quests while sailing in a Guild of Distinction 10 and wearing any Guild Role Outfit." Dive to Skull of destiny voyage. Dig up skull. I think you have to actually pick it up for it to complete? Boom commendation progression! Board your ship, dive to another one. It's not about getting the skull but about getting the commendations done ASAP as the poorly implemented guild system with its insanely limited number of member slots means inactive people will frequently get kicked. How warm and friendly. Just how I expect a "Guild" to be.
