Does anyone know when the servers will be back up and working getting an error message currently down for maintenance
Down for maintenance?
The servers are not actually down for maintenance. I got the same Kiwibeard issue. It's probably an outage affecting the log in authentication, as you can see streamers are still online. Hard to tell when they'll be back as this is not a scheduled outage, and it could be related to a third party service or Xbox Live.
I was just going to ask this as I was on it half hour ago, came off to have some grub and then I get Kiwibeard, though im in UK and we have some issues with the weather causing disruptions... heres hoping itll be back up soon was just getting back into the game after 3 years lol
My guess, is wait till midnight or after 1am and if nothing has happened yet, its probably the server Rare is using that has bugged or is having faults.

As Kenji said, they will post an update as soon as they have more information.
Given the nature of this, I am still going to predict that the cause is a third party outage or possibly a misconfiguration affecting the authentication servers. That's why the game servers are still up for some (see Twitch) but folks cannot log in. People may also get booted from the game when the game rechecks tokens.
