In-Game Friend Menu

  • Lately my friends moved on from Sea of Thieves, and I cannot find a crew to play with. When running solo, I realized that most of the activities are extremely time-consuming or borderline impossible to do because you bear all the responsibilities of your ship's well-being.

Open crew is a disaster, since some just sit there doing nothing, can't decide on what to do, or just don't understand the concept of the game. I think there should be an in-game friend menu that shows who is online, what they're doing, and their crew size. It could be like Roblox, where you make friends and see what they're up to, but Sea of Thieves could have commendations based on how many friends you have and what you do with randoms and crewmates based on making friends.

The Sea of Friends agenda could finally be real.

  • Sounds like what the guild already has. Shows who is sailing and such. Maybe not what they are doing but many don’t have a clue anyways.

Looking for group and pick your crewmates. Don’t use open crew.

  • Would be great to have something similar to the guild mechanic but with the limitations and rewards removed, so it's purely for the social aspect.

  • @burnbacon

Yea but you could have a hundred friends, have a pirate profile that shows stats for other pirates, and customizations for those profiles (that don’t cost ancient coins)
