8 Mysterious Journals, 8 quests

Sadly yes, there hasn't been a statement to merchant quests yet.

Everyone who started doing these commendations after the season 11 changes will have to dedicate months to finishing one of the merchant crate or the keg deliveries.

Yep, it's incredibly tedious. I'd welcome literally anything to improve the situation. It's been even more difficult over the last two weeks with legendary bottles pretty much replacing all costal bottles (flotsam still has the odd green bottle). Hopefully smugglers bottles won't make it even more difficult.

I did get 2 keg runs from 3 dark fortress voyages. The bottles was the main reason I did those voyages. I certainly didn't need any of the loot. It is a fun voyage though.

Unlucky is all. I tend to grab bottles and journals. 4-10 it’s merchant junk and I just block off.

Just to be clear, we are discussing the delivery of cannon, wood and fruit crates and gunpowder barrels. My current estimate is about 1 in every 15 bottle/journal voyages has one. The other merchant plant/rum/silk deliveries from bottles are a dime a dozen and can easily be discarded.
