Personally, I would be happy with a simple 'Create-A-Pirate' in which you can select the head, body type, and hair/eye/skin color.
While the Infinite Pirate Generator is fine for random pirates and can sort of help with limiting a meta in regards to pirate appearances, it is also just a huge time sink if you're trying to attain a specific look for your pirate.
I'm personally not really fussed about it, as I have no intention of changing my pirate's appearance (I've had him since 2018), but the option would be nice to have.

Every hair, hat, eyepatch, beard you buy changes your appearance. You create the pirate you want.
What is being asked for is to be able to customize the base pirate during generation, not just the items you can purchase in the Game Shops/Emporium.
They will never give us full options but I would love if they could give us a small list of limiters. Skin colour, gender, teeth, and maybe give us a toggle for scars and 5 oclock shadow. There are IPG scars that you cannot remove, and you cannot choose to have 5 oclock shadow, it has to be there from IPG.
