Sot is a Call of Duty 2.0

  • This is the reason why SoT has been a dying game I talked to players that still or have play SoT and the amount of player who have stopped play SoT because #Rare you made a great game but keeps going in the wrong direction you had 14 seasons, and still have not fixed anything! This game is showing more PVE content but cant do anything because of the PVP... Make private servers! Wait you did ? yeah with stipulations . Players earn 30% less Gold from all activities .Players earn 30% less Reputation from all activities .Players cannot go above Level 40 Reputation with any of the major factions in this mode (if they reach that point, they stop earning further Reputation), that is stupid.. Back to the SoT is a Call of Duty 2.0 #players reading this did you know if you report a player for cheating they need video proof to do anything easy anti cheat does not detect 3rd party software that has a built in Spoofer inside the hacks if don't believe me look up the cheating sites [do we need examples?] and many more but why do players hack watch streamers like Shroud or Ninja that talk to cheaters an many NOT ALL but many cheaters say why they cheat is because of the sweaty players sweaty players = cheaters, cheaters=dying game the numbers speak for it self. What would I do to my game if I owned SoT 1. private servers for players to play with friends with NO STIPULATIONS! 2. throw anyway easy anti cheat and get something better you get what you pay for and easy anti cheat is cheap too cheap anyone can buy it if they build a game on unreal or unity..
    3. bring back the pvp servers! 4. add open world chatting 5. fix the game settings cant even save the game buttons after logging and relog.

  • As someone that has played consistently for a very long time, through all the metas and different amounts pvp pressure, I often wonder how often people are playing that push narratives like this.

Since season 11 there are very few high pressure spots left in SoT. A fotd might get attacked eventually. Reaper play might get hopped on. Maybe some fof hunting but other than that there is lower pvp pressure on random adventure play than ever before in SoT.

I played through all of it and I took risks during all of it. The game is very very different than it was pre-season 8.

People could make so much progress and have so much fun if they stopped viewing a random sink once in a while as a "bad" thing. It's a good thing, as long as the metas aren't too overwhelming on the underdogs, and it just hasn't been, in the last 5ish seasons.

M/kb servers specifically have WAY less pressure. A lot of the content creation has moved on in the hopping style and m/kb servers have always had most of the new players because controller servers is an opt-in setting.

  • ... but COD is PvP and popular?

  • @xrealm-xd First, what? Second, please use a period. Third, good job linking cheat websites, that's very based.

  • @xrealm-xd

I’ve been playing the game since the beta and I can tell you, if you think this is bad then you would go insane playing the game back then. The constant risk of PvP is part of the games dna, servers nowadays feel very empty anyways so it’s not like you’re getting sunk a lot.

  • This is the reason why SoT has been a dying game

No evidence or proof besides “what others claim”

And I notice players complaining about being attacked every time they play, as they login and unable to do anything because players bother them. As if the game has players still playing. Hmmmmm
