Trinket spot next to your Helm

    Really simple.

    I rarely even bother to put trinkets on any ship except my main Sloop because I'm not paying attention enough to see them. If I'm below deck; its for a reason, not to sit and admire the fish on my wall.

    All ship types have railing in front of their Helm. On the right it has a Compass and on the left it is empty, with extra space in case you have the Shroudbreaker or Veil strapped to it.

    However there is PLENTY of extra space for A Trinket slot even if you have the Shroudbreaker or Veil on there. This would mean you can select your favourite trinket and put it at a more visible location both to you and other players.

    I would also love to see trinket spots on top of the ship as well. I would suggest also turning ALL sitting spots into trinket spots too. Just give us the prop to either sit or place a trinket.

    As long as it's not so close that I might open the trinkets menu instead of grabbing the wheel.

    There's already a setting you can toggle to hide trinket prompts on your ship. Would recommend as really you're not gonna be changing trinkets so often that you need to always have the prompt, and you can just re-enable the prompt when you want to change trinkets then turn it off again.

    Beyond that yea they could just make the trinket interact only appear from the left angle so if you're Infront of the wheel it'd never show up

    It would be fun, but I often found the annoyance when sealing to grab pets or crates behind the helm while in fight because of the adrenaline. If the developers would place them away from the more focussed area when fighting it wouldn't be terrible

    Unsure why you have crates behind the helm

    But as I stated previously, there is already a toggle in the settings to disable trinket interact prompts. As I'm sure you aren't swapping your trinkets around every 2 minutes its worth disabling that prompt and then only temporarily turning it back on to change a trinket and then re-turning it back off.

    And something I also said in a reply is that they can choose where the interact prompt displays from, like what angle and at what distance. So you could absolutely have the trinket spot only bring up the interact when at the side of it rather than when looking at the helm.

    I suggested something similar several days ago, so you could put your favorite faction plushie on the railing......kind of like having an ornament on the dashboard of your car.

    Apparently more customization choice isn't really wanted lol. All I got were vague responses of how it wasn't necessary or plushies belonged on the bed or other stuff.
