Map editor/game modes

    This game is very stunning, i remembered the developers says the sea is our main theme so this has to be realistic.!
    Well you guys nailed that! What i do miss is the factor this game is rather small. I would like to see an island editor so you game developers don't have to do it anymore.
    Let the communitie design and share islands so you guys can ad more to the game. Bigger servers and more randomized.

    This game is such an amazing beginning for one of the best MMORPG there could be in my opinion. I remembered playing a lot of bountybay/voyagecenturyonline back in the day. There has not been any game like it sinds.
    Lets start with fan made island/models and work towards an bigger game! the base is fantastic but i would like to see it grow!

    Keep the current game mode! and expend maybe with a second one more based on gather/leveling/pve

    Very strange idea I've never seen before. It's interesting, but I don't think it would work...

    And nice try with that PvE server bit at the end

    I doubt such thing as a map editor would exist or be given to the community ( I can be wrong)

    However, if you design an island yourself and creat a good concept and propose it here or wherever it would reach Rare's ears, they might just add it if they like it.

    Seen with many survival/building games there are some top end creative gamers out there who would be able to get this game to the next level.
    Halo has this its called 'halo forge'.
    Maybe someone cracks the game and find a way to do it anyway :)

    I have a feeling that if you cracked into the game code it would be like in Raiders of the Lost Ark when they looked inside the Ark of the Covenant. No Bueno. That code is held together with duct tape and a prayer. I LOVE this game, but the weird and wacky bugs that happen are like no other game. Every game has bugs, and some games have a lot of bugs (Looking at you, Bethesda). But Sea of Thieves bugs are just like... how did that manage to happen? How is that even possible? So I imagine the code is just some kind of eldritch horror on a treadmill or something.
