Truly the game needs more regions and islands to explore. Not since Devil's Roar have we had a new region. Shores of Gold was a nice addition but its locked behind the Tall Tale. Sure, Sea Forts were added, but I miss the excitement of exploring a new biome like Devil's Roar.
Sure I can bring up an Ice Zone, but there's other possibilities like Jade Winds, Eastern Winds, etc

Agree with that.
How about a completely new map though, accessible through portal hopping........ the possibilities are endless.
They have said. Due to limitations they can’t expand the map anymore.
As for adding new islands, we got forts
Maybe they will in the future have the whole SoT shift due to some unnatural world server event that causes some or all islands to change. Better or worse.
