So when people have friends round and they want to play but you want to play you can do splitscreen by pressing the same button that use for settings and it would say add player 2 if you have a second controller turned on.

You willing to start buying an Xbox that costs upwards of $1k? Even the series X CPU+GPU isn't gonna handle running two instances of SoT (because that is what you are asking it to do)
This is the reason split screen games are slowly going by the wayside. Even the ones that remain are limited to 2 player. No one wants to pay for the hardware it would take to play in such a way with modern games.
