Just that, server reset as usual, but somehow (after today's patch) it kicked me and my friend out of it.
We have quite a lot of loot along with a almost 5 athene emissary. That just wasted more than 5 hours.
I hope that never happens again, because it took a huge blow on game's "fun" for us.
Server reset makes me lost a crapload of loot!
@thundermight401 The game gives you a chance to rejoin. After something like that happens - usually "HazelnutBeard" or "AlmondBeard" - enter from the title screen, and it says "Would you like to rejoin your previous session?"
Issues like this were and still are very frustrating... but there are safeguards nowadays.
My advice, save the frustration until you exhaust all options.@grumpyw01f I know, but once i joined i was on a fresh spawn sloop. Both for me and my friend.
I know you only meant good, but i'm not that stupid, i know how to get back into the game normaly, but that was a glitch.@thundermight401 Weird... It sent you into two different servers? Or the same one and it sunk you? I've never had that happen.

No offense meant... As you did not state trying to rejoin and it having a failure, I assumed you hadn't, as that would be a bigger bug than getting kicked (getting kicked happens often enough). You know what they say about assume lol.

But on the topic. I've never had that happen before too!
It sent us to a different server (or whatever happens when you get "the world is changing" message) and right after i've got dced, and there was a message asking for rejoin the game, which both us did, but once we get back we were at tavern with a fresh new sloop. I didn't check my inventory, but everything on the ship was gone (including ship skins that was in use went back to default).
Also, i noticed some server perfomance issue before that happens, not high latency, but instability, not sure if is related.@thundermight401 We did a raid on a skull fort a few weeks ago, before opening the vault I told my crew to take a look around the sea and see if it was clear of other players. It wasn't clear, a brig was coming straight for us, so we fled with the key on board. The brig chased us for a good 20 - 25 minutes until they gave up. We were heading back to the fort with our key and it switched servers. Guess what? When we arrived the vault was empty and we had a key for nothing.
In case someone was wondering, you can't sell that key xD
We were wondering if you bring the key to a newly spawned raid, can you open the vault with it?
