@bugaboo-bill tell that to all the crews i dominate with my cutlass, as soon as i see someone double gunning i just change my strats around it and make them fire at least one of their guns and make them miss. they are then doomed.

the unskilled crews - yes - versus a skilled DG crew you stand no chance!

no skilled pirate uses cutlass - they all use 2 guns!
@bugaboo-bill im sorry to say but nah, like i said adapt to the situation, but we still send plenty a skilled dg crew to the depths again both in arena and adventure.
DG can be very powerfull and frustrating to fight against, but just like when i see a blunder i will draw out fire at a distance in order to have them miss and then there is nothing they can do before i swipe them 4 times
I use the cutlass all the time. It is very effective when fighting stuff like most skeletons, never runs out of ammo, the lunge is very useful, etc. The majority of my time in game is spent on PvE, and I’m probably average at PvP so I won’t speak on PvP with the cutlas other than to say I’ve seen it used very well by some good players that I respect to often take down other experienced crews.
