Whilst I was selling loot at plunder outpost, another ship spawned on mine and mine vanished, with my loot was now in the water. A few seconds later, the new ship had all of my cosmetics (there was nobody close to the docks besides me), but i was unable to use the wheel, anchor or cannons. While i was trying to see if there was a way for , someone came up to me and tried to kill me. I managed to kill him around 7 times, because his spawn was set to the outpost. But I was running out of food so he killed me eventually. i spawned across the entire map. I don't mind losing losing loot to a fair fight. But him just spawning, sinking my ship with a bug, and then making it impossible for me to do anything about it.

@kevex101 Ships aren't supposed to spawn on top of other ships and make them disappear like that. The game has built in safeguards, where new ships will only spawn at empty outposts that are devoid of ships. If none are available, though it's exceedingly rare, a new ship may spawn at a random island instead.
Still, with a maximum of 6 ships per server, and 6 spawnable outposts, this kind of thing should never happen, because there should always be at least 1 available.
Forgive me, but I would like video proof of this phenomenon that you experienced, because it just seems so improbable as to be, well, untrue.
With that said, you're more than welcome to report it to Rare's Support team if you truly believe that it's a bug - never any harm in doing that.
@kevex101 This is an odd occurrence that shouldn't happen. I would go to support and raise a support ticket so that it goes to the devs. Also I seen your comment on the other thread about this same topic. I tagged the deckhand's that it was a necro, or old, thread so they will more than likely lock that thread. It was from 2 years ago. Just for future reference as it seems you were just looking for and answer and may be new to forums, reviving, aka bumping, necro threads is against forums rules. If you can't find a post within the past 30 days on your topic just create a new one. Hopefully you won't have that bug happen again. Enjoy the seas.
@Galactic-Geek I did have it happen to me one time about 6 months ago as I had just dropped sail to leave the outpost. I've had one other person I've sailed with say it happened to them once. It seems like a very very rare occurrence.
This happened to me at Galleons Grave yesterday about 10 minutes after I had spawned in there. My ship and I went flying into the air and whilst in orbit I could see the other ship below me (also airborne but not as high as me). My lights were off and cosmetics on whilst the other ship was plain with lights all on. I then went flying across the ocean at high speed and after catching the mermaid I respawned, drowning in my now upside down ship and was unable to move. After about 30 seconds or so and a few pieces of fruit my ship turned up the right way and the other ship was parked just off the outpost. Someone else was there as I heard a flintlock fire but I saw nobody.

@timboagogo The clip was a no go Timboagogo. All I was able to see was a film symbol with a no sign over it.
