Anyway in the video where we see the Hideout there is A LOT of water coming down, no just the big waterfall. So i think may be under the ocean? 🤔

If you all do recall from an article, and from the rare team themselves

whenever you leave the pirate tavern in your ship your ship will breach the water similar to the Flying Dutchmen. so the "Water Fall" that everyone is looking for, and that is seen from footage is rather a Sea Wall

I'm pretty sure they've said that even if you know where it is, you can't get in unless you have access

@de4th-fire just re-watched the video, you can clearly see the bow of the ship is a fair bit away from the water wall

@de4th-fire then lets set a wager upon it then, whenever the game launches. whoever is correct about the identity of the ocean wall (that you say is a waterfall) will be settled, and whoever looses must eat crow

@musicmee I think it's a part of the scenery, even though a lot of people think that it's the ship you get once you become pirate legend.
But as you just said the mast is broken. Maybe it's one of the key features that identifies a pirate legends ship. Though that would be a bit dumb since I doubt many people want a broken ship to display their status.

Have seen waterfall & been thinking the same. Its at either bottom left or bottom right of map. Never tried to sail in, but hideout may not be added to game till launch. **************

Or maybe the waterfall happens to be seen from the inside only. Reminds me of Dreamwork's Sinbad animated movie and Eris' parallel universe. We already have skeletons, ghost npcs and ghost ferry. The fantasy can easely be extended to some kind of ghost island.

think that people is to focus on the waterfall.
If the waterfall is the exit, it dos not mean that its the entrench.
There is many Rocks where u can Thread the needle, maybe you can pass though there at a certain time of day/night, an disappear from the world an get to the hideout.
So the waterfall is more like a veil between the "two worlds"
