@hisdarkestfear Literally ponds. Only a few islands have them.
Devil’s Ridge would be a good spot, for example.
Devils Ridge and Mermaids Hideaway is where I got the commendation. I had to visit both as I could not catch all 5 at Devils Ridge but you would probably have more luck at Mermaids Hideaway catching all 5.
Plus make sure you get on the rocks or even in the water so you are not disturbed by skelly’s. As long they do not spawn with weapons you can carry on.
Once you get all 5 you can buy the new rod at an outpost which is the one I like to use 🎣
