I'm kinda annoyed that I've bought this game last weekend and now it's 50% off at microsoft store. Is there anyway I can ask for a refund and get the game for half the price?

Well at least you bought it now when it is 30% a game as opposed to 10% it was at release. MS are happy to take your money as much as they have been for everyone else. Its just life I guess we felt cheated from the off with presales hype so you did better than many who have already quit and taken the loss.
@roger-plasm If you contact MS support they might give you a one time courtesy refund. They did for me when I bought the wrong edition of a game I wanted by accident.
Although they probably won’t if you tell them it’s so you can get it cheaper during the sale lol
@roger-plasm I've actually had success with Microsoft refunding a game for me for this same reason. I also asked for a refund when a game I had just bought was added to gamepass a couple of days later, which they also approved.
