Stuttering in Game frequently

    Before I post a support ticket, I'm going to ask the community on reasons why I maybe stuttering on Sea of Thieves.

    I usually run Legendary Settings at 60fps with a Graphics Card GTX 1060 Max Q with an i5 8th gen. I run at 60fps then I stutter to 40 then I get down to 10-20 fps then it runs smooth again for another couple of minutes again.

    Steps I've taken, Reinstalled graphics driver, made sure my graphics driver is up to date, I've also updated all other drivers. I just don't know what it could be.

    I'm running a 1080 with an i7 with 32 ram saved on a ssd. I get a jitter it seems every so often. Have not seen the frame rate drop though. Probably wasnt looking in the corner at the number though. Seems to happen in choppier water haven't noticed it on an island.

    I know it's not my rig. That leaves lag (maybe) or a problem on rares end.

    I have been having pretty bad performance with a lot of stuttering since Cursed Crews came out. Doesn't seem to matter the server, and it hasn't been game breaking but somewhat close. I run it on mythical, which has never previously been a problem, but when I'd previously get 90-144fps it's jumping all over the place now.

    Heck I can confirm it happening on Xbox too. The performance has been catastrophic ever since the last update and especially since the last patch. Hopefully it won't last too long.

    I use my Acer Predator 17 G9-791 win 10 home build 1709 (1803 not installed due games not running correctly or crashing on platform) Gpu Nvidia 970m 1080p Resolution and cpu Intel I5-6300hq and system memory 24gig (was 8 gig) I get an average 50-60 fps

    My fps sticks on or around 60fps and does from time to time drops to 50 fps usual on and island when I first arrive then goes back up to 60 fps and I'm using the newest drivers for the gpu with V-Sync on along with the Fps cap in the settings set to 60. I haven't encounted the stuttering the OP mentioned

    Sorry for my english, i speak only a little bit and not so good,

    I have stuttering too, but really strang, with my 1060 6go in 1920x i have no problem but with my 1080Ti in 2560×1440 (2K) i have stuttering, for exemple, if i use my sword to surfing to the shore, then i have strange stuttering ... it's not often but sometimes it makes the game unpleasant ...

    I play on Xbox and my wife plays on PC. I noticed a lot of stuttering after the last update, but thought it was my connection. However, last night my wife complained that her game stutters now on PC as well and she has never complained about that prior to the most recent release. Seems to not be a hardware issue.

    Just want to add, I have been having jittering, freezing, getting stuck in places I shouldn't get stuck in (momentarily stuck that is) on XBox. I don't think the problem is on your end or in your gear. There are simply too many glitches in the game right now and it is not stable.

    I honestly had hoped that Rare would have an update this week to fix these issues and am glad I am not the only one seeing them. At times it is almost unplayable.

    I have sent in a couple of reports, getting stuck in the sea for no reason other than I was close to something, screen lag, and the jittering screen. Sadly, they are putting all of their efforts into FS (Joe's words, not mine) rather than fix current issues which have a real effect on overall enjoyment of the game.
