I've already reported these errors via the Xbox app and to the SoT support profile on Twitter.
Well, whether I launch the game and try to sail solo or accept an invitation, the game freezes and then crashes on loading screen (after setting sail alone or with a crew). The only time I was actually able to play the game, I got stuck inside the brigantine's brig and the game crashed after a few seconds. I'm getting the same problem over and over again... I also got a Beatnik error...
I've perfomed a hard reset of the console, restarted the console. The only thing I can do now is to unistall and install the game again... Which is something that will take me at least 10 hours, given the low internet connection speed.

Same here. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, it's actually worse after that. Instead of actually getting into the game, it brings up title screen and crashes back to the Xbox dashboard. Really frustrating for a game I absolutely love. No one I have seen from Rare has addressed or even commented on this issue.
Open the task-manager "ctrl+alt+del"
Go to your services
Make sure all are running --- restart them with rightclick
Also make sure to go into services --- right click --- go to services and change to automatically start delayed.
That fixed everything for me. It was so damn hard to figure out this issue - but anyways here is your fix.
RARE and Microsoft don't care.

Sorry to hear that reinstalling the game didn't work for you, I finally managed to play the game, today, after I reinstalled it and as of now I haven't encountered any other errors.@tehkriegsheld
I was having that problem on Xbox, but thanks anyway for providing a fix.
