The meaning of "Rise the Sails" is wide spread missunderstood.
It means to set sails.
It is same as in German (hissen - raise) but sadly i could find it only in german https://de.wiktionary.org/wiki/hissen
but just think about it that way: u raise your children, wich means u grow them up´with a sail its the same, u make it big.
