Something needs to change with the Fortress mechanics

  • The key mechanic is just broken. several times now we've had instances where the raid finishes, but we can't get any of the loot because someone's run off with the key and sailed out of bounds killing themselves and the treasure. I've been on both ends of this situation, and it's equally frustrating either way. The key shouldn't be able to leave the island it's used for. this would keep this kind of griefing from happening -because this isn't "being a pirate" like so many people like to use as an excuse on here, it's just straight up griefing. I get hiding the key on the island and coming back for it later, but sailing off the map with it just to keep anyone from getting anything? thats going too far.

    Pirates live by this code. Nobody wants someone else to steal their two hours of (horribly inefficient) hard work. Go try farming golden animals and see how much more money you can make.

  • Farming gold critters dosnt feel like a solution to this problem.

    And how exactly is that a solution to forts being broken? "go do something else"? Really? thanks for the helpful input buddy.
