Do you get reputation towards a group when it says voyage complete or only when you sell items back to that vendor?

@drm3482 So the Order of Souls and Gold hoarders grant rep when turned in. The Merchant Alliance gets rep for the turn in and also after the voyage complete (I think it is a bonus for turning it in on time).
Also unlocking commendations will also grant a little bit of rep as well.
@ecljpse see I think that should be changed. I think rep should only be gained from completing the voyage and gold from selling. The reason is simple, say I pay for the missions, take all the time finding the chestss then I put in time and gold. Someone can dpend no gold a nd just seek out people and sink them. Then they take the chests, sell them, and get both money and rep. Mean while the people who spent the gold get nothing. Its actually more beneficial to not get quests and just attack people.
@drm3482 I see your point, but it that were the case I would never turn in. Because I want rep more then gold. I would just keep doing voyages.
@ecljpse yes but at some point you would want to make use of the higher quest so you would wasnt money. Also quests get more and more expensive as you make use of that higher rep. So eventually you would run out of gold to spend so you could not buy more quest. So you would not be getting those higher end voyages.
@drm3482 true but if your running out of gold and don't have enough for quests then your either buying stuff you don't need it you need to adapt or out smart the other pirates. The only items I've bought are the upgrade items and the discounted shop equipment (merchant spyglass, gold hoarder shovel, souls lantern) stuff like that.
