I understand the choice of RNG for character creation, but at least, like many people have said, let us lock characters in the carousel has we search for our perfect character.
Also, I think we should have the option to select filters for the RNG like :
- Body type
- Skin color
- Hair color
- Gender
- Age
That's probably the main aspect of the game that I felt was lacking while participating in the beta versions of the game.
I spent almost an hour trying to find the perfect character, and then ending up "losing" an okay looking character after refreshing the carousel.
I could not find the pirate that was fitting me, and I know I'm not the only one.
Otherwise, a simple solution would be to allow players to change the appearance of their character at any given time.
This way, we could choose a character we like and save it. Then later on, try to find another one who represents us more without losing the first one we chose.
