So I have already tried the fix that they have here but I still can not here anyone. I'm hoping someone else may have run into the problem as well and can help me.
Can't hear other players and I have already tried what they suggest here on the site
@shadowfox-e57 it might help to list your platform (windows 10 or Xbox) as the help link offers solutions for both platforms. I assume the talking icon is appearing above their head hence your notice of the issue. If you are on windows I would suggest opening "playback devices" by right clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right of the task bar. Ensure you have the correct default audio device/ default communication device selected by right clicking on the corresponding playback device.
Does the headset/speakers/microphone you use work in other games/VOIP systems?

lol your lucky. ive played with over 40 different players and none of them had a mic at all :( Hope your problem gets fixed soon

Correct I'm on PC, also I have tried that, my audio is correct because it works in any other game, discord, or skype, just not sea of thieves.

If your problem is not resolved and you perhaps need further support please create a >ticket for the Sea of Thieves customer support team.
Information we would ideally like to get would include:
- What type of headset and adapter are you using?
- Do you regularly use party chat in other games?
- Can you hear enemy crew members, or is it just your own crew that you cannot hear?
- Is the issue reproducible? If so, could you detail the steps required
