Because it's a reference to the title of the game, and also a reference to Wallace Shawn's exclamation of surprise in The Princess Bride, which happened to star The Dread Pirate Roberts. So it's a three-fer: game name reference, obscure movie reference, and pirate reference. Bam.

    I would name my ship the " Eclipse Revenge" because to me, in order to gain wealth on the high seas, one requires a title that strikes fear into all sailors, even my own men.

    Because it's a symbol of beauty forgotten and decayed by time. And while the beauty has faded the Thorns remain. I would also drop a Black Rose off the bow for each enemy ship I sank, or leave one on the Captain's Table for any ship I have marked for Davy Jones' Locker. (If the rose was implemented in game!)
