How exactly does one become a said "Pioneer" or get implemented in thine "Pioneer Program"? Ist by Random draw? Or through application? I've been involved with the Alpha for almost a year now, and now the Beta. As have many of my friends and acquaintances that were all granted that Status. I'm looking through my friends list and am seeing a majority of them playing the beta... Right now.... But I have yet to receive anything at all. Not complaining, just curious what the process is to get to that point because it is a sad moment when I get an invite to a session full of my friends who are all pioneers, but not I. :c

Us(pioneers) are a select group of people that test the unpolished version of the game,
They are selected by how long they have been supporting and helping make sea of thieves ready for release. We test new features that arent ready for release yet and we are testing builds of the game to test how stable the game is, some people will think its unfair to them because the pioneers can play the game longer and more. But its all to make the game more awesome! I hope i informed you enough :)Kind regards,

I only got access to the technical alpha last December even though I tried to get an invite as soon as the game was first announced. The worst part is I only saw the email about the invitation to the alpha after it ended.@Deckhands , Go ahead and lock this Pretty Please!
