Crew variations

    So far, I believe, we only have chance to play either solo, duo on a sloop or as 4 on the galleon.
    Now... What we know is also coming is a trio on a galleon and possibly on a sloop?
    What I had in mind however is allowing us to devide any amount of crew members up to the max of 4 into any possible combination and its available ship choices.

    4 sloops with 1 player each
    2 sloops 2 players each
    1 galleon with 3 players + a single solo sloop
    And all the other possible choices for crews of 3 and 2 as well.

    Does it sound too op? Maybe, but I think it might add more ships and ship encounters to the world making the game more interesting.
    What do you think?

    @retto-elbaroda I like the idea of splitting a crew with different ships. I can see some tactical advantages. But as far as having more ship encounters, I might suggest that we have only had access to a closed beta and I feel the lack of ship population on the seas may be due to the fact that there were many problems with the launch. I almost gave up, myself.

    So I'm sure many who were eligible to take part, couldn't or didn't, because of these problems. Also, once the actual game launches in March, I think we will see this game take off in popularity. I think the finished game will be loads of fun and word will get around fast.

    I have to say that in this beta I am not very disappointed in seeing just a few other ships on the seas or in the ports. Because virtually everyone that I have encountered has acted like a pirate and plundered my ship, sank my ship, or killed me....or, all three....LOL. So, in the interest of the learning curve for this game, I'm not complaining about not seeing enough other ships.

    @tom392 I know what you mean. But at the same time I would feel much better fighting a 4 man galleon with 2 solo sloops. It would probably make the SoT very dangerous and maybe even even unfair for some combinations but at the same time the battles would be so much more epic. I can imagine seeing a battle of 3 crews with 8 ships all together... That would be whole different battle feeling. A beautiful madness.
