This has been puzzling me for a couple of days, I mean those treasure puzzles that keep asking you to dig a certain number of paces (usually 6?) from a landmark. It sounds clear enough, but in reality I've found this extremely annoying. Never, not even once, have I hit the jackpot with my shovel after measuring my paces. Not the first dig, not the tenth dig, sometimes not even the thirtieth dig.
Tried keeping the left stick forward and count my character's animation by six steps.
Tried rapidly tapping the left stick for six times.
None of that ever seemed to work. Have to dig in circles around a (very roughly) estimated spot. Since I mostly play solo, the process is extremely tedious.
Any advice on measuring paces in the game?
